Second Round Update — PGA Tour — FedEx St. Jude Classic — TPC Southwinds — Memphis, Tennessee —
Ben Crane kept his opening-round momentum rolling in the round two at the PGA Tour’s FedEx St. Jude Classic in Memphis.
Crane, who shot 63 in round one to lead the event, extended his advantage to four strokes at the moment. He is 4-under on his second round through 12 holes and now 11-under overall for the tournament.
Several players have yet to tee off in round two as weather delayed a portion of Thursday’s opening round.
Sweden’s Carl Pettersson is 7-under and alone in second place. He is 4-under through eight holes in round two. Davis Love III, Zach Johnson and Kevin Kisner are all 6-under and T-3. Johnson shot 64 on his opening 18 holes.
Ian Poulter and Retief Goosen are currently inside the Top 10. After a 3-under-67, Phil Mickelson is T-14 before starting his second round play.

- Michelle Wie is tied for the overnight lead at the LPGA Tour’s ManuLife Financial LPGA Classic in Canada. Wie shot 65 Thursday in round one. She won the title in 2010 when it was hosted in Winnipeg.
- The Champions Tour field at the Big Cedar Lodge Legions of Golf has teed off opening-round action. Jack Nicklaus is one of the legions in the field.
- Jimmy Walker continues to lead the FedEx Cup Standings followed by Bubba Watson, Matt Kuchar, Dustin Johnson and Jordan Spieth.
- This week marks the half-way point in the European Tour’s Race to Dubai Standings, a 48-tournament year-long points race. Thomas Bjorn leads the standings followed by Rory McIlroy.
