Final Round – LPGA Tour –HSBC Women’s Champions – Sentosa Golf Club, Singapore –
Paula Creamer snapped a long win-less draught in dramatic fashion Sunday in Singapore by holing a 75-foot eagle putt to win the title.
Creamer edged Azahara Munoz on the second playoff hole at Sentosa Golf Club. Both players finished the 72-hole affair at 10-under overall.
Trailing 54-hole leader Karrie Webb by four shots, Creamer carded a final-round 69 to earn a spot in the playoff. Webb faded down the stretch shooting 74 and finishing solo third.
A host of high-profile players were part of a group at 7-under and T-4 including Rolex Ranking No. 1 Inbee Park, Suzann Pettersen and Angela Stanford. Playing in the final pairing with Webb, Stanford shot 75.
Michelle Wie logged a T-9 effort.
For Creamer, it marked her 10th career LPGA Tour title and first since the 2010 U.S. Women’s Open championship.
Creamer now has three Top 3 finishes in four starts in 2014.

- Creamer, finished in third place at the HSBC last year, was 11th on the LPGA Tour Money List a season ago, making 23 of 23 cuts. But, putting has been keeping her out of the winner’s circle. Last year, she was 82nd on tour in Putts Per Round.
