Weekend Preview –WGC-Cadillac Championship – Trump National at Doral – Miami, Florida

Trump National at Doral is the story this week.

The course is challenging the best players in the world. Most of the field struggled with the course and the high winds at the WGC-Cadillac Championship in South Florida.

Through 36 holes, only four players are under par.

Just 1-under leads the tournament with Dustin Johnson, Matt Kuchar, Hunter Mahan and Patrick Reed tied at the top of the leader board.

Johnson, 10th in the Official World Golf Ranking, won the WGC-HSBC Champions last November in China. The tournament is part of the 2014 season on the PGA Tour. He was a 16-to-1 betting selection at heading into Miami.

Graeme McDowell and Rory McIlroy are part of a group at even-par and T-5.

First round co-leaders Harris English and Jason Dufner struggled in day two shooting 77.Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson are T-25. Mickelson shot 75, while Woods carded a 73.

Look for players who can grind out pars in key moments to hang around the top.
