Presidents Cup Singles SundayThe U.S. team leads the International squad at the PResidents Cup by one point heading into Sunday Singles matches.

The team of Jordan Spieth-Patrick Reed edged Jason Day-Charl Schwartzel 3&2 to finish the marathon two-session Saturday to give the U.S. a 9 1/2- 8 1/2 advantage.

The U.S. leads the overall series 9-1-1. Sunday Singles feature match pits the last two major champions — Zach Johnson and Day — against each other. They are the 10th of 12 Sunday Singles at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club in South Korea.

  • After entering this year’s competition with an 0-4 record in Presidents Cup history, Branden Grace is 4-0 this year part of the undefeated duo of himself and Louis Oosthuizen. The pair knocked out the previously unbeaten U.S. team of J.B. Holmes and Dustin Johnson in Saturday’s afternoon session 1-Up.
  • Jessica Korda fired a 65 in round three of the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia to take the overnight lead into the final round. Korda (12-under) leads Ha Ha Jang and Stacy Lewis by two shots. Lewis also shot 65 Saturday and is looking for her first win of 2015. Defending champion Shanshan Feng and Lydia Ko are 9-under and T-4 through 54 holes.
  • Already with two victories on the European Tour this season, Kiradech Aphibarnrat leads the British Masters mid-way through the third round.
  • Bernhard Langer (7-under) leads by two shots at the Champions Tour’s SAS Championship.
