Michelle Wie keeps rolling along in 2014.
Wie, who has seven Top 10s this season including a victory at the LPGA Lotte Championship, is a shot back of Shanshan Feng and Hee Young Park (both 11-under) heading into the week at the ManuLife Financial LPGA Classic in Canada.
Wie hit 17 of 18 Greens In Regulation in round two at Waterloo’s Grey Silo Golf Course.
Anna Nordqvist (9-under and T-4) is in the mix. She is looking for her third title of the 2014 winning the Honda LPGA Thailand in February and the Kia Classic in March.
Second-ranked Inbee Park is just four back and T-6, while Rolex Ranking No. 1 Stacy Lewis and Lydia Ko are T-20 heading into the weekend.
This is the final tune-up for the U.S. Women’s Open two weeks away at Pinehurst.

- Rain continues to disrupt the PGA Tour schedule at the FedEx St. Jude Classic in Memphis. Ben Crane (12-under) leads by a half dozen strokes at the moment. He is through 36 holes, while a host of others have yet to tee off in the second round including Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson and Retieft Goosen.
- The team of Fred Funk and Jeff Sluman (10-under) are tied at the top of the leader board with Russ Cochran and Kenny Perry at the Champions Tour’s Big Cedar Lodge Legends of Golf.
- Crane’s last victory on the PGA Tour was the 2011 McGladrey Classic in a playoff. He has four wins and five career runner-ups on tour, but has slipped to No. 267 in the Official World Golf Ranking after a difficult few seasons.
- Joost Luiten (9-under) leads Bernd Wiesberger at the European Tour’s Lyoness Open in Austria. At 4-to-1 odds at www.ladbrokes.com, Luiten was the outright betting favorite heading into the week.
